Planetary Magic — Invocation to Mercury

Do you know that each day of the week is linked to a particular planet?

Wednesday is the day of Mercury, which makes it a perfect opportunity to balance your books, respond to those e-mails you've been putting off (as Mercury rules both commerce and communication), and for doing any writing or studying (the more detail orientated the better!) This is the last Wednesday before Mercury stations retrograde on 4/5 August (depending on your time zone) so it's a great time to tick off some boxes before three weeks of review and revision. 🤓📚✏️

Recently, I have felt called to write an invocation for each planet, to be used when you want to celebrate that particular energy or call in assistance in the areas that planet is responsible for. The invocation to Mercury is shared below.

I also did a simple Mercury ritual, using a beeswax candle, the Magician tarot card, a clear quartz (for clear thought and speech) a piece of green jade (for financial success and because green stones are a Mercury correspondence) and some clover picked from my backyard. ☘️🍀☘️

Magic doesn't have to complicated and time consuming - I assembled everything within a couple minutes - all it requires is an open mind and focused intention.
