Hi! I’m Monica

I’ve always been a seeker. I was the child conducting ESP experiments on my younger sister and checking out every book on the paranormal from my local public library. As a young adult, societal pressure pushed me away from those interests. I earned a Master’s degree in Urban Planning and spent years working in the government and corporate sectors, although I never felt fully at home in that environment. I knew there was something else I was supposed to be doing.

I stumbled upon astrology by chance - at work of all places! A colleague introduced me to the concept of ‘moon signs’ and I felt inspired to research my own. Discovering I had a Virgo moon was a game changer as it deeply resonated with how I saw myself.

I dove headfirst into astrology and was lucky enough to study with some master teachers. The more I learned, the more familiar it all seemed. Like I was tapping into a thread of ancient wisdom, deeply encoded in all of us, but requiring translation. It became my life’s goal to master the language.

COVID was my watershed moment - I thought, if the world can literally change overnight, why can’t I? Star Story Astrology launched in May 2020, and I’ve been helping others find magic in the mundane ever since.
